Lecture by Dr. John F. Larkin (QC – Attorney General for Northern Ireland)
“In his lecture, the Attorney General for Northern Ireland sets out a proposition about the future of international co-operation after Brexit and then explores three current complications with that proposition. Two of the complications arise from the EU/UK withdrawal agreement in its present form and they are anchored in the particularities of the relationships in and between Northern Ireland, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The third complication has a much wider European impact, and looks at the role of the CJEU as a factor in the relations between states.”
