In connection with the Chernel commemoration year, the Institute of Advanced Studies Kőszeg (iASK) is organizing a guided walk in the footsteps of the Chernel heritage. The text of the new walking trail, featuring sites related to the Chernel family, has been compiled by historian Dr. Mónika Mátay and will be available for download from the Kőszeg Walks app from 10 May.
The six routes of the Kőszeg Walks, including the Chernel Walk, will have a printed map by June, which will be available at the local Tourinform office. The new walking routes and map have been developed in cooperation with the Kőszeg Tourinform Office, the Kőszeg Municipal Museum and Library and the Őrség National Park in the framework of the Local Action Plan of the Interreg Local Flavours project.
