iASK permanent researcher, Anikó Magasházi contributed with her chapter „COVID-19 and Global Value Chains in South-East Asia and Singapore” to a new book titled COVID-19 and International Business. Change of Era published by Routledge, New York (2021, 390 pages).
The book came on the last day of 2020 among the first to the market analysing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has induced a crisis grasping the world abruptly and swiftly. It includes 30 chapters written by 50 authors from 20 countries and 5 continents that „discourses multidirectional aspects of COVID-19 on international business, ranging from juxtaposing forces disrupting globalization and installing a change of era through decoupling of technological, production and knowledge flows to its stimulating aspects to the strategic response on business, industry and state levels.” – as the editors Marin.
