The Digital Society connects innovative researchers to address complex problems and propose alternatives with the help of new resources that Big Data can provide. Various projects analyze the digital breadcrumbs generated in everyday life by individuals, public institutions and information available via various data sources. The aim of project is to set up global, local and regional monitors, based on open data sources, in order to detect, explore and follow strategic and social trends by means of analytics and network science. Some of the critical areas include: creative adaptation of complex systems, innovative methods for analyzing complex systems, a monitoring and prognostication unit.
The fellow researcher of the Institute of Advanced Studies was interviewed by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs in a podcast on the occasion of their conference.
Fabio Terribile, lead professor at the University of Naples, which is managing the project, participated in the International KRAFT Conference organized by iASK in 2018.
