A Digital Transformation (DT) is the change associated with the application of digital technology in all aspects of human society.
In a narrower sense, “digital transformation” may refer to the concept of “going paperless”, which affects both individual businesses and whole segments of society, such as government, mass communications, art, medicine, and science, industrial sector.
4.0 refers to the concept of Industry 4.0 and to the 4th Industrial Revolution as well.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is described as a range of new technologies that are fusing the physical, digital and biological worlds, and impact all disciplines, economies, and industries. It is based on the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes many advanced technology-based approaches and methods like cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things, cloud computing (big data) and cognitive computing which make a tool set for the conception.
