STUDY PROGRAMS
Three programs are provided at the University of Pannonia Kőszeg Campus. The International Studies MA and the Cultural Heritage Management postgraduate programs are conducted in English, while the Viticulture and Oenology postgraduate program is conducted in Hungarian (for the description of the latter see the Hungarian site).

INTERNATIONAL STUDIES MASTER PROGRAM
Duration: 4 semesters

Whom we expect?
Students who are interested in complex problems of economics, politics and social sciences, who wants to understand local, regional and global connectivity and who also would like to acquire practical knowledge about the techniques in international communications.
Study Objectives
The goal of our International Studies MA is to train highly qualified experts in the social sciences who are able to think about the place and role of Hungary and the Central European region in an international and global context and who are able to draw informed conclusions as to the theoretical and practical implications of international relations. Students are to acquire advanced language and negotiation skills as well as proficiency in analytical and synthesizing skills. Coupled with a broad knowledge of histories and current issues they are required to have a comprehensive understanding of the current dynamics of global political economy, legal frameworks and social processes. Based on the acquired knowledge and skills, they are able to make predictions and forecasts. The program trains students to able to identify the complex issues inherent in Central Europe’s location in global challenges as well as to get acquainted with the world beyond Europe and tendencies of development of the third world. The acquired lexical knowledge and related skills enable them to pursue further studies or individual research (PhD).

Who we expect
We welcome applications by students who hold a bachelors degree in the field of International Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Law or Arts and who demonstrate advanced-level English competence.
Eligibility Criteria
BA degree prior to registration; Advanced Language Proficiency in English (TOEFL 79-80 iBT/213 CBT/550 PBT pts, Cambridge Proficiency Language Exam, IELTS min. 6.0 pts.) or any previous degree acquired in English;
