Gaudenz Assenza is a transdisciplinary university teacher and educational innovator. He is managing director of Institutions for the Future and chairs the University for the Future Initiative, which contributes to the regeneration of higher education by embracing wisdom, deep vocation and grand challenges. He has taught at prestigious universities, including King’s College London, IE Madrid and the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. Gaudenz holds five degrees in the social sciences, including a Master’s degree from Harvard, and a Doctoral degree from Oxford. From 1994 to 2002 he was Senior Research Fellow at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute in Norway. He managed international projects in the sphere of leadership like the School for Transformative Leadership, which provided innovative courses to more than 4000 students. Gaudenz worked with international companies and organizations including the World Bank Group and the UN. Currently he works at the University of Ruľomberok, Slovakia.
