On Tuesday, 6th of December 2022, iASK will host Prof. Dr Nebojša Vladisavljević who is a full professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia. His talk “Democracy and Authoritarianism in the Balkans after Communism” is a part of our Future of Europe in a Global Context lecture series. The lecture will be held in English on iASK’s Zoom and Facebook platforms. Interested parties can join the event and participate in the debate after registering at info@archive.iask.hu. Nebojša Vladisavljević is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade, Serbia since 2020. Before, he was the Associated Professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade, a MSc Teacher at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Research Fellow in Government (Comparative Politics) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a PhD in Government and MSc in Comparative Politics from London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as BA in Politicology from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia. His research topics include Authoritarianism and democracy, social movements and revolutions, regulation of ethnic conflicts, constitutional design in new democracies and divided societies, media and democratisation and communism and post-communism.
