{"id":19091,"date":"2020-10-26T09:08:22","date_gmt":"2020-10-26T08:08:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.iask.hu\/hu\/?p=19091"},"modified":"2020-10-30T08:58:17","modified_gmt":"2020-10-30T07:58:17","slug":"ferenc-miszlivetz-received-a-prestigious-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.iask.hu\/en\/ferenc-miszlivetz-received-a-prestigious-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferenc Miszlivetz Received a Prestigious Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19092 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/archive.iask.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/kituntetes-miszlivetz-ferenc-2020-10-23-02-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ern\u0151 Pungor Award was given to Ferenc Miszlivetz (director of iASK) by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Majth\u00e9nyi the chair of Vas County&#8217;s General Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>The venue of the ceremonial award was the Hall of Vas County&#8217;s Assembly in Szombathely on 22th of October 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Ferenc Miszlivetz the founder and director of the Institute of Advanced Studies K\u0151szeg (iASK), a Jean Monnet professor and full professor at the University of Pannonia. He is a scientific advisor at the Centre for Social Sciences, Institute for Political Science, at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He elaborated the project on creative cities and sustainable regions embedded in the KRAFT Centre at iASK. His research interests include democracy, civil society, Central-European and European Studies, globalization and sustainability. He has taught and conducted research at various universities in Europe and the United States, including the University of Bologna, and Columbia University in New York. He is the founder and director of the board of the Institute for Social and European Studies Foundation (a Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence).
