The Hungarian Committee of FIABCI <\/strong>(International Real Estate Federation) has announced the Hungarian Prix d\u2019Excellence<\/strong> for the twenty-fourth time this year.<\/p>\n

This year, our Institute also compiled and submitted its material for the competition, in which the Kraft Program<\/strong> and our buildings renovated within the framework of the program – Benedictine Convent, Europe House, Festetics-Chernel Palace, Sgraffitos House, Szemz\u0151 House, Zwinger-Old Tower and the Synagogue<\/strong> – were presented, with descriptions and rich photo documentation. The entries have been divided into several categories, our entry is competing in the category “Urban Scale Development”.<\/p>\n

The “Creative City \u2013 Sustainable Region” (Kraft) program is an integrated urban and rural development concept seeking new, less-travelled ways of releasing and innovatively connecting creative social energies, taking into account the potential combinations of small and medium-sized cities.<\/em>
\nThe Kraft concept draws on, uses, and utilises already existing values for the future. The first specific development and a model example of this concept is K\u0151szeg, which has a unique built heritage, school town identity, citizens willing to act for the city, long-standing cultural, professional, and religious communities.<\/em>
\nThe key missions of the Kraft program include the complex renovation of the historical buildings in the city centre of K\u0151szeg \u2013 coordinated by the Institute of Advanced Studies K\u0151szeg \u2013 and ensuring their efficient and long-term sustainable operation, which greatly contributes making the city more attractive. The buildings renewed within the framework of the program are: Benedictine Convent, Europe House, Festetics-Chernel Palace, Sounding City Fountain, Sgraffitos House, Szemz\u0151 House, Zwinger-Old Tower and the Synagogue.<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
