We welcome everyone to the lecture and discussion on Wednesday, 2 November, at 6 p.m., at the \u00cdrottk\u0151 Hotel Bar in K\u0151szeg. Our invited speaker is P\u00e9ter Poczai<\/a>, Plant Geneticist and Research Director of the Finnish Museum of Natural History, researcher colleague of the iASK.<\/p>\n

The title of his lecture is “Heredity before Mendel”, his book<\/a> on the subject was published this year by Taylor & Francis. You can also read an article about principles and biological concepts of heredity before Mendel written by P\u00e9ter Poczai and Jorge Santiago-Blay (Smithsonian Institute), published in the Biology Direct<\/a> in 2021.<\/p>\n
