[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ferenc Miszlivetz, Director of the iASK, gave his inaugural lecture at the Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University of Gy\u0151r. The lecture took place on the occasion of the Hungarian Science Day on 4 November, after the University has conferred an honorary doctorate (Doctor Honoris Causa) to Ferenc Miszlivetz. In his welcome speech at the beginning of the conference, Scientific Director Ferenc Friedler underlined the role of science, followed by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Csicsmann, Dean of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics, who appreciated the importance of the Institute of Advanced Studies as a multidisciplinary Central European academic workshop.<\/p>\n

Ferenc Miszlivetz’s lecture in English, held to great interest for international audience, was entitled \u201eSanctioning the Future: War and Peace in the 21th Century\u201d.<\/p>\n
