It is an excellent tool for teaching, for understanding and processing life events, for passing on customs and traditions, and for connecting in communities. As part of the Week of Synagogues, families are invited to listen to stories, play games, make crafts and engage in discussions. The recommended age for children participating in the program is 5-12 years old. This documentary offers a fascinating insight into the life of the “Queen of the Jews”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Thursday 31 August<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 16:00 – 17:30 Hora Dance<\/strong><\/p>\n Venue: Synagogue<\/em><\/p>\n Judit Sikl\u00f3si and her students from Zalaegerszeg<\/p>\n The Israeli folk dance is a special form of contemporary folklore, whose survival is ensured by its ability to combine the old with the new, to preserve the original elements and at the same time to evolve according to the expectations of the times.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 18:00 – The cycle of everyday life, lecture by Imr\u00e9n\u00e9 Sz\u00e1nt\u00f3, Dr. Edit Bal\u00e1zs<\/strong><\/p>\n Venue: Synagogue<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 19:00 – “The Fifth Day” guided audio walk by Zolt\u00e1n Mizsei in the Synagogue<\/strong><\/p>\n Participation fee: 1000 Ft<\/em><\/p>\n The title refers to the day of the event, i.e. the fifth day of the week and the Creation. This extraordinary guided tour will bring to life the synagogue’s rooms, the biblical frescoes and the thoughts of the former citizens of K\u0151szeg, who were connected to the Synagogue.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There are many ways of approaching the understanding of a culture.
